Reason for Online training module:
As a Part of the annual training program WCIG thoughtfully selected Anitech to build a cyber security training module for their employees. Since online training allows for a customized learning experience and it’s more cost effective than traditional education. Online education enables the teacher and the student to set their own learning pace, and there’s the added flexibility of setting a schedule that fits everyone’s agenda. As a result, using an online educational platform allows for a better balance of work and studies.
Our Approach:
The approach was to build a strong customized Cyber security awareness training module, which should highlight the threats within the organization. It was important to educate all the staff about recent threats from phishing, vishing, smishing, QR codes, texting, USB, and general behavior. Security awareness training is important to WCIG as it helps to protect an organization from cyber attacks on the system resulting in data breaches. The primary focus is the prevention of such incidents that lead to loss of brand reputation and financial losses as well.
The Outcome:
WCIG Staff have gone through Security awareness training, which helps employees understand the potential risks and threats in their systems, networks, and devices. The exercises ensure that employees know the possible consequences and can safeguard their infrastructure from outside attacks. Cybersecurity awareness training coaches employees to understand common types of social engineering attacks like phishing and spear phishing. The goals of the security awareness program are to lower the organization’s attack surface, to empower users to take personal responsibility for protecting the organization’s information.
