Reason for Quality, Safety and Environment Programs:
Pedders aimed to demonstrate their commitment to continual improvement and quality product & services and so decided to proceed with ISO 9001 certification around 2020. Always at the forefront of their industry, Pedders decided to formalise their OHS management system and begin their sustainability journey in 2024 by achieving ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications.
Our Approach:
Gap Analysis: Evaluated existing systems against ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 requirements to identify compliance gaps.
Action Plan: Created action plans to address any shortfalls and track project completion.
Integration: Identified potential integration opportunities with existing documentation & processes to ensure a more effective system was developed, and to prevent duplication.
Documentation & Workshops: Mapped and documented core operations through collaborative workshops, establishing clear procedures & forms.
Employee Training: Prioritised staff training to embed the new system and ensure organisation-wide awareness.
Certification Audit: Supported Pedders through multiple external audits.
Ongoing Support: Ongoing maintenance of system through internal audits and other continual improvements.
The Outcome:
Pedders now manages their quality, health & safety and environmental impact using robust controls and performance monitoring as part of their daily operations. ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 certifications were successfully achieved, which demonstrates to all stakeholders that Pedder’s product quality and HSE impact will be managed and continually improved. It has bolstered the company’s reputation by increasing the credibility of their public commitments in these spaces.
